Staying focused is harder than it sounds

I am a procrastinator, making my life difficult. Mid-terms were this week and before last night I had a combined total of 8 hours of sleep in the past three days. I miss feeling rested at school.
I have been discussing it with my friends and trying to come up with strategies to be more productive and reduce my procrastination.
What are some ways you think this can be done?
